چکیده
This paper focuses on investigating how a particular but classical configuration of finite homogeneous soil layer, once studied by Terzaghi and currently subjected to freezing temperatures, behaves different boundary conditions can intervene affect the thermo-hydro-mechanical (THM) responses. Spatial homogeneity is strong assumption has decisive advantage simplicity, allowing eventually construction an analytical solution, useful both enhance understanding as benchmark. The essential relations constitutive behavior saturated poroelastic soils are firstly recalled, in general non-linear case where material parameters state-dependent. Solutions linearized governing equations with constant state-dependent then developed respectively derivation commercial code COMSOL based elements method accounting for two sets conditions. validity this numerical modelling partially verified using solution limiting state-independent parameters. Comparison between results given solutions model reveals important impact ice content variations various that modify significantly THM Nonetheless, give correct order-of-magnitude estimate, especially at moderate temperature variations, remain tool preliminary design checks. Numerical hydraulic ground surface reveal such factors evolution mass. In last part paper, limited parametric study effect permeability relative liquid water flow highlights parameter plays role development excess pressures hence movements.

Analytical and Numerical Studies on Hydromagnetic Flow of Boungiorno Model Nanofluid over a Vertical Plate
MHD boundary layer flow of two phase model nanofluid over a vertical plate is investigated both analytically and numerically. A system of governing nonlinear partial differential equations is converted into a set of nonlinear ordinary differential equations by suitable similarity transformations and then solved analytically using homotopy analysis method and numerically by the fourth order Rung...

15 صفحه اولon translation of phatic communion and socio-cultural relationships between the characters of the novels
phatic communion is a cultural concept which differs across cultures. according to hofstede (2001), the u.s. tends to have individualistic culture; however, asian countries tend to have collectivistic cultures. these cultures view phatic communion differently. in individualistic cultures like u.s., phatic communion reflects speakers’ socio-cultural relationships in conversations. to see whether...
15 صفحه اولon translation of politeness strategies in dialogues involving female characters in translations and retranslations of novels translated before and after the islamic revolution of iran and their effects on the image of women: a polysystem theory approach
abstract reception environment has considerable effects on accepting a translation. as the expectations of a target culture and its values and needs change throughout history, its criteria for accepting a translation or rejecting it will change accordingly (gentzler, 2001). the expectations of iran, as the reception environment in the present study, have changed after the islamic revolution. i...
